Team India squad for series against Sri Lanka Announced | WATCH NOW
After winning the 3-match ODI and T2OI series against West Indies, Team India will next host Sri Lanka for three T20Is and two Tests. We have already learnt that the Rohit Sharma-led squad will have significant changes as Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are set to make a comeback to the squad. While Virat Kohli and wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant are likely to be rested for the three-match T20 series, KL Rahul is likely to miss out due to injury concerns. In Rahul’s absence, Rohit Sharma is expected to lead the team in the Test series.
The big decision will be regarding the second wicket-keeper. With no Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan could be the preferred option and he is likely to don the gloves behind wickets for the three-match T20 series.
