Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor is well-known for his outspoken nature and he does not like to take a backseat if he is provoked. However, emotions sometimes bring the worst out of him. One such instance took place at the VMAs 2021 when McGregor got into a physical altercation with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
McGregor was reportedly pushed back by Kelly's personal security while the fighter was approaching him for a handshake and a photograph. Following this, McGregor splashed his drink on Kelly after which the scuffle took place. As reported by Page Six, McGregor and Kelly got into a physical fight and had to be pulled apart.
In a photo that surfaced, the UFC star and the ‘Bloody Valentine’ singer could be seen getting involved in a scuffle while the security personnel are trying to separate the two. "They scuffled then it settled down and Conor went for him again,” a report stated. It further added that the photographers were not happy and were planning to boycott McGregor as they were afraid that Megan and Kelly would not walk.

As reports suggested, it was McGregor who started the squabble but no one could understand what it was about. However, McGregor denied everything saying he did not even know the guy. When a reporter asked Conor what just happened, he replied, “Absolutely nothing. I don’t know, I just showed up and just...I don’t even know the guy….I only fight real fighters. I don’t know anything about him except that he is with Megan Fox.”
Nonetheless, things got in control real quick as Kelly walked the red carpet with actress girlfriend Megan Fox and turned heads with their daring red carpet looks at the 2021 MTV Music Awards. McGregor also walked the red carpet wearing a pink sports jacket with girlfriend Dee Devlin.
