Manchester City beat Aston Villa 3-2 to win their sixth Premier League title in spectacular fashion. The Citizens were down 2-0 by the 70th minute when Ilkay Gündogan and Rodri scored three goals in the space of five minutes to win the game 3-2. Now under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City has won four titles in the last five years.

After their incredible comeback win, the crowd at the Eithad Stadium went over the moon and flooded the field. Similarly, all City players were emotional as they celebrated a historic title defence. In the video posted on the team’s Twitter, Guardiola was in tears and hugged his players in joy. These celebrations then entered the dressing room where the team was singing, “Ole... Ole… Ole…”.

After the match, Ilkay Gündogan reacted to his two goals and the season he had with the team. "It was an unbelievable game, I don't know what to say. It's fantastic," he said. “Honestly, I think we are all human beings and after going 2-0 down the chances were very small, but we had to do the simple things and obviously scoring those two quick goals gave us ten minutes to score the third one.”

“We felt the tension. It was a negative tension more than a positive one when we were 2-0 down, but it was about getting a goal and we knew we could score more if we got the first. We're proud of ourselves today. These are the days you look back on. It was an unbelievable day”, he further added.
