In a recent development, Pawri Ho rhi hai sensation Dananeer Mobeen has joined Peshawar Zalmi as their brand ambassador for season 6 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Dananeer, the teenaged social media content creator, gained popularity after her recent video attracted millions of views in no time. Even the Pakistan Cricket team recreated the "Pawri Ho rhi hai" video after winning the home T20I series against South Africa.
The video was already viral when music composer Yashraj Mukhate put the viral dialogue on a catchy tune and beat which further amplified the reach of the video in India. Yashraj's version even received more views than the original creation by Dananeer.
When Pakistan led by Hasan Ali recreated "Pawri Ho Rahi Hai"
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their social media account in which the team celebrates their series win over South Africa recreating the same video. Hasan Ali, who played a pivotal role in the Men in Green's win in the final T20I, can be seen in the video saying “Ye main hun, ye meri team hai aur hum series jeet gye hain aur pawri kar rahe hain (This is me, my team and we have we have won the series and are partying.”)
The rest of the team cheers from behind in the short video which too went viral on the internet. Earlier, the hosts had also beaten South Africa in the Test series.
Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandar make winning start in PSL 06
Although Dananeer was present with her team during their season opener against Lahore Qalandars, it was the Qalandars who started off with a 4-wicket on Sunday. Earlier the Karachi Kings had won the tournament opener on Saturday, beating the Quetta Gladiators by 7 wickets. Islamabad United will face Multan Sultans later on Sunday.
