Former Indian captain Virat Kohli was spotted alongside his wife Anushka Sharma as the couple attended a kirtan by Krishna Das, the renowned American vocalist in the UK with the Indian team. Krishna Das is popular for his Hindu devotional songs.
Meanwhile, Hanuman Dass, one of the disciples of Krishna Das uploaded a picture with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma revealing that the couple attended the kirtan. The event was hosted at the Union Chapel in London and ran for two days on 14 and 15 July.
Hanuman Dass’s post was captioned, “Great that Maharaji could bring us together @virat.kohli and @anushkasharma to @krishnadasmusic tonight. Lovely meeting and chanting with you both. Ram Ram!”
Recent reports say that after the England tour, Virat Kohli will stay in London with his wife and daughter. Virat Kohli’s mother will also join in London as he wants to completely avoid cricket for a month. The 33-year-old isn’t included in India’s tour of the West Indies and will return for the Asia Cup 2022 in August.
Virat Kohli has been struggling over the last few years in international cricket as he had another underwhelming performance in the second ODI against England at Lord’s. He got to an above-average start but was dismissed for 16 runs in 25 balls. He also hit three boundaries in the innings and was showing glimpses of his former self.
