Kohli amassed 231 runs in the 5-match series, which included three unbeaten 50+ scores. Kohli’s return to form has not just given Indian fans a reason to cheer, it has also given a sigh of relief to RCB franchise ahead of the IPL 2021.

Most T20I runs as captain

Last night, Virat Kohli surpassed Aaron Finch to become the most successful T20I batsman as a captain. Kohli has now scored 1502 T20I runs as captain and is also the first player to complete 1500 runs as a captain in the shortest format.

Most T20I fifties as captain

Virat Kohli scored his 28th fifty in T20Is on Saturday. It was also his 12th 50+ score as a T20I captain, toppling Kane Williamson (11) in the list of most 50+ scores as skipper.

Most runs in full members T20I series

The Indian skipper scored 231 runs in this series which is the highest ever for any batsman in a bilateral T20I series with 5 or fewer matches.

Most runs as captain in a T20I series

With 231 runs, Kohli also set a record for most runs as captain in a T20I series. Virat’s 231 included 3 50+ unbeaten scores.
