Virat Kohli enjoys a huge fan following on social media in India as well in foreign countries. Many people love him for his flamboyant attitude while others get attracted by seeing his dedication to the game. At the mere age of 31, Kohli has become the role model for many young cricketers, which also includes India's Under-19 batsman Riyan Parag. The Assamese player often shares his thoughts on social media about cricketing events and doesn't hold back from talking about anything. But this time, his recent tweet about Virat Kohli has not gone well with the fans.

Riyan Parag, on Thursday, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the Indian skipper's appearance. “Buttoned up and collar down, Virat Kohli isn't the same vibe ya,” Parag wrote on Twitter. As the tone suggests, he seemed to be missing the old avatar of the ever-energetic Virat Kohli where he used to bat with his collar up. However, many fans seemed upset about his comment and started trolling him. “Riyan Parag first look at yourself in the mirror then open your mouth against our King Kohli,” a user replied to his tweet.

It's actually not the same old Kohli

Despite fans trolling Parag for his comment, he may have got it right. The Indian cricket team fans are definitely missing the old Kohli who used to smash bowlers around the park for fun. It's not that he doesn't do it now, but the flamboyance is missing. Also, the wait for his 71st international century is getting prolonged with every match.

Kohli got out on a golden duck in the first innings of the first Test. Then, in the second match, he looked shaky in his innings of 42 runs. The woes of the 2014 England tour seemed to have returned. But, as we know Kohli, he possesses the ability to bounce back as we saw him doing during his previous tour to the UK when he had amassed 593 runs across 5 Tests.
