Former India captain Virat Kohli is currently on a small break from the cricketing action. The Indian run-machine was rested from the five-match T20I series against South Africa along with some of the other senior members and Kohli took that opportunity to take a short holiday with his family.

However, in a major update, Kohli along with his wife Anushka was seen rushing to a hospital after returning to Mumbai from their holiday. While there is no confirmation as to what the purpose of the hospital visit was, well-wishers of Indian cricket are hoping that there is no health or fitness concern for Kohli before India's tour of England beginning in July.

India's England tour comprises a solitary Test match- the rescheduled fixture from their previous tour along with three T20Is and as many ODIs. While Kohli was the captain during India's UK tour last time, this time around Rohit Sharma will have the leadership responsibility.

Both Virat and Rohit would want to forget the disastrous IPL they had. Rohit, in particular, had a season to forget not managing a single half-century. However, the Hitman would be determined to make amends in the national colours. Initial reports suggest that Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah Kohli and Rohit will leave for England on June 16.

India’s Test squad for the tour of England: Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain) Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Hanuma Vihari, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant (wk), KS Bharat (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Mohd Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Prasidh Krishna
