Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli will once again be in action during a one-off Test match against England, starting on July 1 at Edgbaston, in Birmingham. Virat Kohli, who had a forgettable outing in IPL 2022, will look to end his century drought in the fifth Test match.

The whole cricket fraternity is desperately waiting for Virat Kohli’s 71st international century and expecting a better show from the Indian batter as he is also relieved from the additional responsibility of captaincy. Former Indian batter Virendra Sehwag has shown confidence in Virat Kohli and stated that the batter will surely treat cricket fans with an incredible knock very soon.

Sehwag also confessed that he is optimistic about Virat Kohli's 71st century and claimed that it will come very soon. "Do you remember when was the last time, Kohli scored a century? Even I don’t remember. He would definitely want that he scores big in this Edgbaston Test which is the series decider. I am confident that we are going to witness quality batting from the batter," he said during the pre-match show on Sony Ten.

Sehwag, who is widely known for having a great sense of humour took inspiration from Prime Minster's famous line 'Ache din aayenge,' and stated that Virat Kohli's bad days are over and now his better days will come. "He looked in great touch during a 4-day warm-up game against Leicestershire.

He (Virat Kohli) has scored fifty in both innings. I think his bad days are over. And I am confident and assured that he will do well during the final Test," Virender Sehwag added. Notably, India is already leading the five-match Test series by 2-1, and if team India managed to beat England in the fifth Test, they will win their first Test series on English soil since 2007.
