Although India registered a massive win over New Zealand in the second Test match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, it is the Blackcaps' spinner Ajaz Patel who has been hogging much of the limelight. This is because of the historic feat he achieved during the Test match by becoming only the third bowler in Test match cricket to take all 10 wickets in an innings in the first Indian innings.

After the match, it was former India opener Virender Sehwag who showered huge praise on the Kiwi cricketer, saying that the left-arm spinner achieved what is one of the most difficult things to achieve in the game.

"One of the most difficult things to achieve in the game. 10 wickets in an innings. A day to remember for the rest of your life, #AjazPatel . Born in Mumbai, creating history in Mumbai. Congratulations on the historic achievement," Sehwag tweeted.

While Ajaz thanked Viru for his wishes he even recalled an old incident when he used to be a net bowler and Sehwag had smashed him for huge sixes.

"Thank you @virendersehwag, funny story I still remember you smashing me out of the ground at the outer oval at Eden Park when I came in as a net bowler ?," he had responded.

Here is that tweet:

And now the first Indian to a Test triple hundred has responded to that comment as well saying: "Waqt ki aadat hai , badalta zaroor hai. What you have achieved in Mumbai is extra-ordinary so much so that India ki jeet se jyada aapke charche hain. May you achieve ever more success and good luck."

Here is the exchange between the two on Twitter:

Talking about Ajaz's overall performance, he scalped a total of 14 wickets in the second and final Test match setting a new record for the most wickets taken in a Test match against India. It is worth highlighting that bowler had in fact taken his initial strides in his career as a pacer before switching to bowling spin. From 11 Test matches so far, Patel has scalped a total of 43 wickets and will now enjoy a bit of a break before playing Test matches at home.
