England slumped to a disappointing 10-wicket defeat on the fourth day of the third Test to lose their series against West Indies 1-0. The defeat meant that England lost the series 1-0 and have dropped to the bottom spot in the latest updated World Test Championship points table. Meanwhile, West Indies moved one place up in the points table to occupy the seventh spot after their series win.
Former India opener Wasim Jaffer found the perfect opportunity to troll Michael Vaughan after England were bundled out for 120 in second innings, as they went on to lose the third Test by 10 wickets to West Indies. Jaffer shared an image which showed the top run-getter's chart for England last year. The list was topped by Joe Root followed by Rory Burns. Surprisingly, the third most runs for England came in the form of the extras as they were more than the runs scored by any England batter except Root and Burns.
Jaffer wrote on Twitter, "England 120 all out! What happened @MichaelVaughan. Was this Extras guy unavailable due to IPL or what? #WIvENG #IPL2022."

To this, Vaughan replied, "Wasim .. At the moment we are focusing on the Womens World Cup semis .. !!!.
England have now lost four Test series in a row - five if the unfinished India series which England side trail 2-1 is counted. Notably, England are also winless in nine matches. Their defeat comes on the back of a humiliating 4-0 Ashes loss.
