Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is known for his spot-on sarcasm and witty remarks with his active presence on social media. Be it capitalizing on meme trends or giving pop culture references, Jaffer has always jumped on the bandwagon to give out hilarious reactions. Recently, the Indian commentator’s reply to Ashwin’s post on Twitter was a dose of entertainment for cricket fans.

Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin posted a picture along with Chesteshwar Pujara on Twitter, captioning it as "Prizes for guessing what @cheteshwar1 is telling me here!

“Sabka badla lega re tera White Walker”

The former Indian cricketer made a combined Game of Thrones and Gangs of Wasseypur reference to respond to Ashwin’s post. “2016 WT20, 2019 WC semi sabka badla lega re tera White Walker. unbowed, unbent, unbroken,” Jaffer replied.

Jaffer made use of famous dialogue for the TV Show ‘Game of Thrones’, citing the White Walker reference, along with the most famous dialogue from the Indian movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ to suggest that the Indian team will take revenge of WT20 2016 and 2019 World Cup defeat by winning the World Test Championship final.

The Indian team is currently training at Southampton ahead of the World Test Championship final against New Zealand, which begins in a week.
