Former India opener Wasim Jaffer is well known for sharing cryptic posts and memes on social media, leaving the fans and cricket enthusiast in splits. In a similar way, he did not refrain from replying to former England skipper Kevin Pietersen after England suffered a 5-wicket defeat to New Zealand in semi-final 1 of the T20 World Cup 2021.

On November 2, Kevin Pietersen had put a tweet stating England should be given the trophy seeing their performance in the tournament. He also said that Pakistan & Afghanistan are two sides who are capable of beating the Eoin Morgan-led team on the Sharjah pitch.

After England’s defeat at the hands of New Zealand which has led to their elimination from the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021, Wasim Jaffer has come up with an epic response to Pietersen.

Jaffer posted a picture of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson with a caption reading, “Haa, hum to yaha bass Burj Khalifa dekhne aaye hai.” The statement translates to “Yeah, we have just come to see the Burj Khalifa”.
