The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is yet to complete its first week of the tournament, and we have already witnessed some power-packed performances. The absence of a few key foreign players like David Warner, Aaron Finch, Jason Holder from the game was the central talking point before the match started, but Indian domestic players defied all odds as they chipped in with their valuable match-winning contributions.

Ishan Kishan, Devdutt Padikkal, Nitish Rana, Tilak Verma, Lalit Yadav, Umran Malik, and a few of many players who have rocked the stage with their stunning performances to let the drums roll. Emphasising the contributions of domestic players, former Indian cricketer and social media sensation Wasim Jaffar highlighted the same situation in his own hilarious and witty way.

Taking to Twitter, he shared a video of a father and son who were seen playing with home utensils with a combination of creativity and notorious fashion.

Jaffar shared the video with a caption, "You buy expensive fireworks, but delivery is delayed, so you have to use homemade fireworks, which do a decent job. Story of this IPL so far." Indeed, Jaffar once again touched the current situation's nerves due to incredible performance from Indian domestic players; anyone has hardly missed players like Jason Holder, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, and Josh Hazlewood.

While Caribbean all-rounder was busy with his national duties as the West Indies is playing a bilateral series against England. While South Africa players, including the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Rassie van der Dussen and Marco Jansen, skipped their national duties (bilateral series against Bangladesh) to join the IPL. Notably, Cricket Australia didn't allow their players to skip the Pakistan tour. Hence, Australian players are waiting for their bilateral series in Pakistan to end to grace the current season of the Indian Premier League with their presence.
