Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is undoubtedly the king of cricket memes on social media. The batting coach of Punjab Kings is known for his witty humour which leaves the fans in splits. As KL Rahul's side get set to face Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday, the 43-year-old came up with one of the most hilarious post.
Time for Maxwell's reunion with Punjab
The talking point of tonight's match has been Glenn Maxwell, who will turn up for RCB to face his former side after they released him ahead of the 2021 season. There have been already quite a lot of memes made on how the Aussie has suddenly thrived for his new franchise after an extremely disappointing campaign last year. Reflecting on the same, Wasim Jaffer posted a very cheeky tweet on social media. He shared an image from the movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' with a caption, "Preity when she meets Maxwell tonight". Just like actress Jaya Bachchan waited for Shah Rukh Khan to return in the movie, Jaffer is expecting a similar reaction from PBKS owner Preity Zinta when she sees Maxwell.
Happy meeting or sad one?
However, just like the title of the movie, the meeting could go either ways depending on how Maxwell performs. On the other hand, the RCB all-rounder would also be delighted to be back playing against his former teammates, having spent the majority of his IPL career playing for Punjab. Just like Jaffer, the fans are also quite excited to see this epic reunion in Ahmedabad on Friday.
