Defending champions Chennai Super Kings were once again shocked by Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday (April 7) by 8 wickets. Later, five-time champions Mumbai Indians too had a similar fate as they were stunned by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the doubleheader of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. Both the former champions and most successful franchise in the tournament have entirely failed to open their account in the ongoing season, as they remain winless even after four games.

As both the teams were left defeated on Sunday, former India cricketer Wasim Jaffar shared a hilarious meme on Saturday portraying the problematic season that Rohit Sharm and Ravindra Jadeja-led franchises are going through.

Jaffar took to Twitter to share a scene from an old movie in which two kids promise always to win and lose together. In the video, their teacher is also seen complementing their friendship and love for one another. Interestingly, the scene belongs to the movie "Mehndi Shagna Di", starring Yuvraj Singh, and the kid on the right side is India's former all-rounder, who was 11-years-old then.

CSK vs SRH

Speaking of the first match on Sunday, the Ravindra Jadeja-led side lost by eight wickets after failing to defend a relatively low total of 154 runs. Batting first, Chennai scored 154/7 as the side suffered another batting collapse with the top order failing to fire. Moeen Ali (48 off 35 balls), Ambati Rayudu (27 off 27) and Ravindra Jadeja (23 off 15) rescued the side from an embarrassing end in their first innings. In response, Abhishek Sharma top-scored with 75 off 50 balls for Hyderabad as they chased down the target quite comprehensively.

MI vs RCB

In MI vs RCB match, Rohit Sharma-led side could only manage to post 151 runs in 20 overs; after losing a couple of early wickets, Mumbai struggled to post a competitive total on board. But, Suryakumar Yadav's heroic innings with 68 off 37 balls took his side to a respectable total. However, RCB unleashed beast mode while chasing the target as Anuj Rawat (66 off 47 balls), Virat Kohli (48 off 36 balls) played blistering knocks in the second innings. Rawat was named the Player of the Match for his effort with the bat.
