The game of cricket often provides us fans with some incredible moments. These moments often show us the athleticism aspect of the sport which isn’t seen during regular games. Something similar was seen in the CWC Challenge League Group B match played between Uganda and Kenya on Sunday.

Here a Uganda fielder Frank Nsubuga pulled off a great catch, which took everyone by surprise. Nsubuga was fielding on the inside of the circle and ran back towards the boundary. Then as he spotted the ball, he plunged in the air while running and caught the ball with a diving finish.

Another surprising fact that makes this catch even more impressive is that Frank Nsubuga is a 41-year-old cricketer. Hence his entire team surrounded him as they celebrated the catch running around the ground.  The video of this incredible catch has been shared by ICC across social media platforms. ICC captioned the video, “One of the finest catches you will ever see. Uganda’s Frank Nsubuga over the weekend in @CricketWorldCup Challenge League action.”

Talking about the game, Kenya was bundled out for a total of 220 with incredible spells from Riazat Ali Shah and Cosmas Kyewuta, where they each picked up three wickets. Nsubuga also picked up a wicket while giving away just 21 runs in his eight overs.

For Kenya, Rakep Patel was the top batter as he scored 72 runs in 72 balls with seven fours and fours sixes. Then in the second innings, it was the Simon Ssesazi’s show as he smashed 87 runs in 112 balls with 10 fours and one six. Ronak Patel and Dinesh Nakrani also scored half-centuries as they won the game by seven wickets.
