The ongoing season of Abu Dhabi T10 League has produced some exciting action on the field. From Liam Livingstone's explosive knock against Northern Warriors to Chris Gayle flipping the coin for toss ahead of match between Delhi Bulls and Bangla Tigers, there has been no shortage of entertainment. And it seems like the tournament has kept on producing stuff which is very rarely seen on the cricket field. However, this time around, it was slightly scary for everyone who witnessed the incident!

It all happened during match 13 of the tournament, being played between Chennai Braves and Northern Warriors on November 24. The Warriors duo of Kennar Lewis and Moeen Ali got their side off to a brilliant start with the score reading 83/0 in 5 overs. But it was the next over which turned out to be disastrous - both for the bowling side and the umpire.

Scary moment for the umpire during match

Dasun Shanaka went on to concede 23 runs in 6 balls but it was actually Aleem Dar who was left bruised. During the over, when the fielder was throwing the ball back to the bowler, it scarily went on to hit the umpire on the back of his head who unfortunately got in the way. Luckily, the ball had bounced before hitting Dar which might have reduced the intensity of impact.

The 53-year-old looked in some discomfort after getting hit and was attended by the physio of Northern Warriors. He had a basic concussion test which he seemed to have passed. Few moments later, Dar claimed that he was fine as he continued to officiate during the contest.

But much to the delight of all the fans, Dar was deemed fit to resume officiating duties on Friday as he was the third umpire during match 17 between Bangla Tigers and Team Abu Dhabi.
