Andre Russell is a genius and he has a habit of winning games for his team. The all-rounder does every possible thing on the field to make things harder for his opposition team. While he hits massive sixes with the bat, he takes wickets with the ball and saves runs in the field. But one thing he makes sure is that his contribution is notice worthy.

On Saturday, Russell chose to contribute with the ball. Given the responsibility to bowl the 20th over, Russell took the opportunity with both hands and made the most of it. He took not one, not two, not three but four wickets in his six balls to keep Gujarat's total in check.

Russell made the best use of the slowness in the pitch and bowled into the deck to not allow batters to score runs easily. On the very first ball he bowled, he got Abhinav Manohar with a short-pitch delivery, Russell got Lockie Ferguson with almost a similar sort of delivery.

Although he missed to take a hat-trick and also got hit for a boundary on the fourth ball, Russell made sure it doesn't get batter for Gujarat. He made Tewatia fetch a wide delivery to just deposit it into the safe hands of Rinku Singh. Russell finished the over on a high as he got Yash Dayal with a yorker. The pacer dived to take the catch himself and claim his fourth wicket of the over.

On the back of this fabulous finish by Andre Russell, KKR were able to restrict GT to a below-par total (156/9). Apart from Russell, Tim Southee also shone with his three wickets in the game. The right-arm quick was also economical as he gave away only 24 runs in his four overs. His three wickets on the day included Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Rashid Khan.
