Although it is a common sight to see emotional outbursts on the pitch, what happened during the Premier League match between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur was extraordinary. Managers Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel both had to be sent off after the Premier League match ended in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

While England is already experiencing some of the highest temperatures this summer, both managers were equally hot-headed on the touchline during this match which meant that both received two yellow cards for not one but two acts of losing their cool.

The first one of the two incidents happened in the 68th minute of the match. It was in this phase of the fixture that Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojberg found a way to equalise after the hosts had scored early. However, the catch here was that Hojberg scored despite Rodrigo Bentancur seemingly having fouled Kai Havertz.

This seemed to spark the heated argument as Tuchel ensured he vented his anger at the Italian manager.

Later the two managers were once again seen involved in a heated exchange after the full-time whistle. Although Tuchel went to have a customary shake hand with his rival manager, once the formality was done, both bosses became aggressive. This time around the clash was more hearted as players from teams had to intervene to separate the two. Consequently, both managers were shown a red card by the referee.

As far as the match is concerned, Harry Kane's extra-time equaliser ensured Tottenham walked away with a point from this game after Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James' goals in either half had put the Blues ahead twice.
