Anushka Sharma is preparing hard to play Jhulan Goswami in her biopic 'Chakda Xpress'. The 33-year-old actress is sweating hard on the ground to bring out the best in her and justify her selection to play on-screen Jhulan Goswami. To give her fans a sneak peek into her preparations for the much-anticipated movie, Sharma shared a video of her training on the ground.

The Bollywood actress shared a small clip where she can be seen training, working on her bowling skills, as well as batting skills. "Get-Sweat-Go! ?#ChakdaXpress #prep getting hard and intense as we are counting days," wrote Sharma in the captain of the post on Instagram.

Notably, Anushka Sharma is also making a comeback to the box office post her pregnancy with Chakda Xpress. Sharma is playing India women's legendary cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the film. The movie will cover the journey of one of the most successful bowlers in women's cricket.

Movie to release on Netflix

Talking about the release of the movie, a date has not been announced yet. However, the release platform for the same has been confirmed. OTT platform Netflix will be releasing the movie across the country. It is going to be one of the top-sought cricket biopics.

Chakda Xpress traces Jhulan Goswami's inspirational journey as she overcomes all the hindrances posed by misogynistic politics and goes on to fulfill her dream of playing cricket for India.

Goswami succeeded in achieving her goal and went on to captain the Indian women’s national cricket team. It has been more than two decades since she has been representing the national team. In the process, she has achieved so many feats. Thus, in 2018, an Indian postage stamp was issued in her honour. She is a role model for aspiring cricketers in the country.
