The ongoing Legends League Cricket has been nothing short of any entertainment with the former cricketer proving to the world that class remains permanent. From Yusuf Pathan setting the tournament on fire with a superb knock in the opening clash followed by heroics from Naman Ojha and Imran Tahir, it's been a spectacle for the fans across the globe.

On Monday, it was time for yet another special knock, this time from former Afghanistan captain - Asghar Afghan. During Match 4 against India Maharajas, the stage was set perfectly for the charismatic batsman to show his skills. With score reading 107/3 in 13.2 overs, the batting side needed an explosive end to the innings and this is when the Afghan storm came in Oman.

He played some monstrous shots all over the park, which included three consecutive sixes off the bowling of Stuart Binny. The 34-year-old, who recently announced his retirement, looked in great rhythm as he did not spare a single bowler from India Maharajas.

With 4 boundaries and 7 sixes, Afghan scored an unbeaten knock of 69 runs in only 28 deliveries at a dazzling strike-rate of 246.43. His destructive innings helped Asia Lions post a huge total of 193/4 in 20 overs.
