After a stunning win against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Saturday, the Villa fans were understandably pumped. Villa had travelled to the Theatre of Dreams as the big-time underdogs but managed to get out of it bagging all the three points.
Dean Smith's side netted the only goal of the match in the 88th minute when Kourtney Hause scored for them. The 26-year-old made just his second Premier League appearance of the season against the Red Devils and had been subbed on with 15 minutes remaining on the clock.
However, the occasion did not get to his nerves as he broke the deadlock with a fine header from a corner.
The Red Devils came close to restoring parity as they were awarded a stoppage-time penalty when Hause, minutes after his heroic goal was involved in a handball inside the box. However, Bruno Fernandes, who took the penalty before talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, messed it up by big time as his kick went over the bar and Villa got all three points.
Celebrating the win outside the Old Trafford, Villa fans mocked football superstar Ronaldo after the match. The touring fans were spotted forming a circle as they took turns to do Ronaldo's iconic "Siuu" celebration.

"Price we pay for being the biggest in the league, enjoy your once a decade win at OT," wrote one United fan. "They deserve a points deduction for this," another demanded.
Earlier, the fans had a rather cheeky chant for Ronaldo during the match. As the 36-year-old failed to score and was not given the chance to take the spot-kick, some fans started to chant "Cristiano sex offender."
Notably, Ronaldo has been accused of a sexual assault against American model Kathryn Mayorga in the past. The footballing superstar, had in fact, himself signed a witness statement which said that he had persisted and made sexual contact with Mayorga despite her saying saying "no" multiple times. The incident dates back to 2009 and is conveniently forgotten among his list of achievements on the pitch.
