Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong found himself in the middle of a few relentless club fans while driving for the training ground on Wednesday. The fans insulted him and shouted at him to lower his salary ahead of Barcelona's fixture against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea have continuously shown their interest in the Dutch midfielder. Amid his transfer mystery, the La Liga giants have demanded the 25-year-old footballer to take a drastic salary cut if he wants to stay.
While arriving at the Barcelona's training ground, Frenkie has to witness explicit demands to lower his salary.

Notably, Frenkie's camp has been in talks with Barcelona for £17m of deferred wages that they feel are owed. However, the former Ajax midfielder apparently wants to stay at Barcelona but he has to accept the club's demand as it stands.
Barcelona can also face the departures of new signings and players with renewed contracts if they failed to register them with the LaLiga before the summer transfer window ends on August 31.
