There have been so many instances in the game of cricket where players get cold feet and fail to decide what to do. But even after having seen so many brain-fade moments, seeing a new one always gives tickles like the one in a T20 Blast match between Hampshire and Somerset. A run-out in the first innings left the viewers in splits as Liam Dawson was involved in a hilarious runout.

In the last over of the Hampshire innings, Dawson was caught short of the popping crease after he tried to steal a run. On the fifth delivery of the over, van der Merwe fired a delivery wide of off-stump to which James Fuller tried to hoick over the extra cover. However, Fuller missed the line completely and the ball went past him. Tom Banton who was keeping the wickets for Somerset fumbled a bit.

Seeing this, Dawson who was at the other end sensed a run and left his crease. Meanwhile, Fuller stayed rooted in his crease and was not even looking at his partner which meant he was not interested in the run. However, out of nowhere, Fuller left his crease and started running towards the non-striker end. But it was too late till then as Banton had got hold of the ball and wasted no time in dislodging the bails.

Everyone found the event too funny. The official Twitter handle of the tournament also shared the video with a unique and hilarious caption. “When you accidentally press 'A' on Brian Lara Cricket…” wrote Vitality Blast in the caption of the video.
