The fans of cricket legend Rahul Dravid were shocked and in splits simultaneously after they watched their idol of calmness losing his cool in front of the camera for a recent advertisement. Before this, no one had ever seen such a side of Dravid, be it on or off the field, and that's the reason the ad in no time became the talk of the town.
'Indiranagar ka Gunda' Rahul Dravid
Even those people, who are never interested in the creativity of the advertisements, broke their rules to watch the former India captain shouting at the public after getting stuck in a traffic jam and terming himself 'Indiranagar ka Gunda'. All those who saw the ad hailed the acting of Dravid and the overall idea and effort of the advertising unit to present the calm legendary batsman in such a different and eye-catching manner.
Keeping the curiosity of the people in mind, CRED — the company in whose ad Dravid showed his angry avatar — has now released a video from behind the scenes where the National Cricket Academy director could be seen rehearsing for the angry mode of his.
Here is the video:
After the ad got released, 'Indiranagar ka Gunda' started trending on Twitter and across other social media platforms. Even current India skipper Virat Kohli, who is also known for his in-your-face attitude, took to the microblogging website to comment on Dravid's unseen avatar.
Here is what Kohli said:
Never seen this side of Rahul bhai 🤯🤣 pic.twitter.com/4W93p0Gk7m

The advertisement got so much attention that it further bolstered the company’s plans to feature the yesteryear cricket stars in its new commercial.
The company incorporated former Indian cricketers Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Saba Karim, and Maninder Singh in another advertisement in which the four can be seen dancing on a song with lyrics - “If you are one of those Gen Z, you might not know me. Just go and ask your daddy, don’t forget us because of T20.”
