In the sport of cricket, there is a very famous term known as 'Karma'. Any action that you do on-field can come back and hit you hard at any moment. This is a lesson which is taught to all the young budding players, which they are asked to keep in mind whenever they step on the field.

However, in the moment, one often tends to forget those learnings in the flow of the game. Well, in such cases, the player needs to be ready for an equal and opposite reaction to his action - a theory of Physics valid in all aspects of life!

Something similar happened during Match 13 of European Cricket League 2022 on Thursday. It all started when Tunbridge Wells' batsman Marcus O'Riordan was clean bowled by Dreux pacer Wahid Abdul. Following the dismissal, the bowler gave a cheeky send-off by taking off his shoes before gesturing to use it as a phone, leaving the batsman slightly embarrassed.

However, this is where the beauty of team sports come into play! The captain of Tunbridge Wells' Chris Williams, like a true leader, stood up for his teammate and gave it back to the opposition. A few moments later, when he smashed sixes off the bowling of Dreux bowlers, he used his bat to make fake phone calls to complete epic revenge.

Along with winning the banter on the field in end, Tunbridge Wells also won the match. On the back of an explosive half-century from captain Chris Williams (along with a few phone calls from bat), they scored 141/3 in 10 overs before bowling out the opposition on 91, winning the match by 50 runs.
