Everaldo Stum notched up a stunning goal in Japan's J1 league this week to put himself firmly in contention for the 2022 FIFA Puskas Award. The 31-year-old Kashima Antlers forward's effort was evident in the 89th minute of the game when his side was behind 1 goal against Cerezo Osala on Wednesday.

Everaldo latched onto a diving flick-on by teammate Yuma Suzuki before dodging the ball over defender Ryuya Nishio and then delivering an astonishing acrobatic bicycle kick to beat the keeper Kim Jin-hyeon from a wide position. The video of the same has been going viral on the internet ever since it came to light and football fans are going gaga over the same. Many football fans have claimed that Everaldo should win the coveted Puskas Award after his unbelievable strike.
