Football is a game of passion and intensity, and often players draw a lot of limelight for their acts during a game which reciprocates their passion for the game. A similar incident happened during a match between Burkina Faso and Gabon in the Africa Cup of Nations Last 16-match on Sunday at Limbe Stadium.

The crucial match between both the teams was going on in full swing and ended all-square even after extra time. Aston Villa's forward Bertrand Traore missed a penalty opportunity in regular time but grabbed a similar chance later in the game. He responded with a goal from open play as Burkina took a 1-0 lead into the break. Gabon's Sidney Obissa was sent off for a second yellow card, but a late Adama Guira's own goal sent the game into extra time.

The match turned thriller for spectators as both sides missed two of their first eight penalties and made it to the ninth pair of penalty takers. Burkina's Koffi saved from Guelor Kanga, while Gabon's Jean-Noel Amonome also pulled off a save too, and it looked at one point as though both stoppers would need to step up and take penalties themselves. However, after Lloyd Palun hit the bar and Ouedraogo put away his spot-kick, Koffi's delight was a sight to watch out for. As Ismahila Ouedraogo took the winning penalty, the 25-year-old goalkeeper was on his feet and was seen performing a series of somersaults to celebrate his team's victory.

His style of celebration immediately went viral and the video was widely circulated on social media.
