The 11th edition of the Big Bash League is underway and the unstoppable cricketing action is on display for the fans. The teams are taking on each other in high-intensity games. Acrobatic fiddling efforts, outrageous shots, and ruthless bowling are the highlights of the Australian T20 League. And the match between Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunders gave viewers just what the BBL is famous for, unbelievable cricket.
Melbourne Renegades spinner Cameron Boyce produced a spell of the ages as he scalped four wickets in four balls to leave the Thunders tattering. Boyce took double hattricks and got himself listed in the history books. The right-arm leggie took the four wickets on four consecutive deliveries of two different overs in his spell. He first dismissed well-set Alex Hales on the last delivery of the 7th over. Boyce then returned in the 9th over and removed Jason Sangha as he got him stumped out.
On the next delivery, his hattrick ball, the leg spinner trapped Alex Ross LBW and claimed his first hattrick. The young bowler did not stop there. On the third delivery of the 9th over, Cameron Boyce accounted for Daniel Sams and claimed his second hattrick. Boyce bowled a loopy leg break to which Sams tried nudging towards the mid-wicket region but ended up taking it on his pads.

Boyce becomes first bowler to take 4 wickets in 4 balls
With some wizardry, Cameron Boyce got himself a unique feat in the Big Bash League history. The right-arm leggie became the first bowler in BBL history to take a double hattrick i.e. 4 wickets in 4 balls. There have been so many hattricks but no one had done what Boyce did today while playing for the Renegades today. He is also now the 10th bowler in T20 history to register the unique feat of double hattricks. He has joined some great T20 bowlers like Rashid Khan and Lasith Malinga.
Boyce did not stop at the double hattrick and claimed a fifer as well. He dismissed Matthew Gilkes on the fist delivery of the 11th over to claim his fifth wicket in the innings. The Boyce magic continued as he affected a run-out and sent Ben Cuttings back to the pavilion.
