England has been on a roll in the T20 World Cup so far. They have played 4 matches and registered convincing wins in each one of them to be certain of a place in the semifinals. They began the tournament as the favourites and have lived up to the tag and reputation by tasting big wins in one match after the other.

Yet at the post-match presentation after the match between Sri Lanka and England at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, it wasn't really the England captain Eoin Morgan who was stealing the show but rather a cat. The animal innocently made a surprise entry into the stadium and walked near the area where cricketer turned broadcaster Simon Doull was interviewing the winning skipper Morgan.

It did not disturb the proceedings but sure made for a great sight in a video that is now doing the rounds on the internet.

Talking about the match on Monday, Jos Buttler smashed his maiden T20I hundred to aid the Three Lions to a comfortable win after the English side were for the first time put under pressure in the first few overs of their innings. Buttler's hundred helped England post a fighting 163/4 before they bowled out Sri Lanka for 137, stitching a win by 26 runs.

While the win has maintained England's position at the top of Group 1, a defeat for Sri Lanka means they are now at fourth place in the points table with West Indies also having just two points but an inferior net run rate than Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh are yet to open their account in the points tally and have lost all their three matches so far to form the base of Group 1. In Group 2, Pakistan have been the dominant side and have won each of their three matches so far in the Super 12 round. Afghanistan and New Zealand are the teams that follow. In perhaps a big upset, Team India have not been able to take a single point so far and find themselves at the brim of elimination after two defeats in a row.
