Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara is on a mission as he notched up his fourth century in as many games of the season while representing Sussex in Country Championship. Interestingly, Pujara has converted two of his centuries into double centuries. After getting dismissed cheaply for just 16 runs in the first innings, Pujara continued his dream run in the tournament by putting on a show in the second innings.

On Saturday, the Indian batting star yet again produced a blistering knock to register his fourth century in as many matches. At the end of play on Day 3, Pujara remained unbeaten at 125 off just 149 balls, with a brilliant strike rate of 83.39. Pujara aiming for return in Indian Test squad

Speaking of Pujara, he has been in top form for Sussex as he aims to make a comeback to the Indian Test team. He was earlier dropped from the Indian whites this year following poor performance over the last few months. In his absence, team management entrusted Hanuma Vihari to bat at the crucial No. 3 spot in the Test team.

India's next assignment in Test cricket is going to be the last match of their series against England which was left incomplete last year due to COVID-related concerns.
