The 2nd and final Test match between India and Sri Lanka kicked off on Saturday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While Rohit Sharma opted to bat first, hoping to put on competitive total on board, Lanka bowlers blew away India's top order within ten overs of the game. Mayank Agarwal departed in a bizarre sequence of events and soon after skipper Rohit Sharma too departed.

However, Rohit's departure was indeed a big blow for team India, but the crowd was elated as Sharma departed. Virat Kohli, who leads the Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League, was out on the field and seeing him on the ground, Chinnaswamy stadium gave a fabulous welcome to the former skipper of Royals Challengers Bangalore and India's prolific batter.

Kohli, who is playing his 101st Test match, must be hoping to build a crucial partnership with Hanuma Vihari in order to provide a solid foundation to the side.
