WATCH Colorado goalkeeper does a blunder in Major League Soccer game against Real Salt Lake

Football and its turnarounds never fail to amuse the spectators. From witnessing one of the most amazing goals to the best dribbling ever, the game with itself brings a lot of breathtaking moments that play a pivotal role in keeping its popularity intact with the passage of time. However, it is not only the astounding efforts of players on the field that keep the spectators entertained throughout the game. Sometimes, it is the blunders from players on the football turf that add cherry on the cake.

A similar eye-catching moment has gone viral on social media from a Major League Soccer game between Real Salt Lake and Colorado that took place on Sunday (IST). Colorado goalkeeper William Yarbrough has been at the receiving end of criticism post the viral clip as he is the person who was the culprit to give rise to the hilarious video which is now making rounds on social media.

Getting a return pass from one of his teammates in the 14th minute, Yarbrough faultered in receiving the ball. The repercussion saw him losing the ball in between his legs and the ball eventually slipping away into the post for one of the most silly goals. Though Yarbrough tried his level best to neutralize the mistake by running to his back and stopping the ball, however, he could only do so after the ball crossed the goal line.

Real Salt Lake beat Colorado 3-0

Freddy Juarez's men fetched most out of the advantage and scored another goal within the next 14 minutes, courtesy Bobby Wood's maiden MLS goal. The 28-year-old striker beautifully beat two defenders to execute a left-footed powerful hit into the back of the net, adding salt to the injury of Yarbrough.

In the second half, it was Rubio Rubin's goal for Real Salt Lake that put the final nail in Colorado's coffin, making it 3-0 for Freddy Juarez's side.

It is worth noting that Colorado dominated the game in terms of ball possession, passes, pass accuracy and shots, however, they were Real Salt Lake who ended the game on a high. The win takes them to the seventh spot in the Western Conference of MLS, while Colorado are at the fourth spot in the table.
