There is some happy news for fans eagerly waiting for the third installment of the popular cricket based show Inside Edge. The Amazon Original series which had earlier announced that it will make its global premiere on December 3, dropped its trailer on Monday. The show deals with power, money, fame and the other behind-the-scenes drama behind the sporting business. The series has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Media & Entertainment.

An official release had confirmed that the forthcoming season will witness "the game behind the game" get all the more fascinating with personal agendas and interests coming to the fore. Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Tanuj Virwani, Aamir Bashir, Sayani Gupta, Sapna Pabbi, Akshay Oberoi, Sidhant Gupta and Amit Sial among other cast and crew have worked in the third season of the series.

"The love and appreciation Inside Edge has received from its fans right from the first season has been overwhelming and our sole aim has been to match their excitement with this season," Director Kanishk Verma was quoted as saying.

"We have integrated every character to the core of the narrative, so what transpires on screen connects immediately with the audience bringing them back to the compelling story that was left at a cliffhanger. Season 3 will bring forth new mysteries and new game plans both on and off-field that will soon unravel," Director Kanishk Verma was quoted in an official release.

The first season of the show was premiered in 2017 and focused on fixing and betting, while the second season which came out in 2019 revolved around doping. It should be noted that Inside Edge marked the first Indian Amazon Original series.
