As a cricketer dropping a catch is one of the most embarrassing moments on the field. But if you combine a dropped catch with losing your pants that just takes your day from bad to worst. Something similar happened with a South Africa cricketer and Lancashire captain Dane Vilas against Yorkshire Vikings.

In the last over of the match, this funny incident took place on the second last delivery of the match. Vilas attempted a diving catch which he dropped and in the process also lost his trousers. During this incident, it was Pakistan’s Shadab Khan who was batting and couldn’t connect the ball properly.

He skied the delivery when Vilas went for the catch and in the process, his trousers came off, as the commentators were hilariously laughing. The commentator on air at that time said, "The catch goes down and he lost his trousers, Dane Vilas. It is all happening."

The match ended in a tie as both teams ended at 183 runs in the 20 overs. After the game, Yorkshire’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored a crucial and steady 67 in 50 balls and played a key role in the Yorks' innings. He said, “It always feels like one that’s got away when you need one-off one ball at the end. But it was just a great game of cricket.

“It ebbed and flowed and both sides played some amazing cricket. In the end, a draw is probably a fair result. That’s what the fans want to see. The atmosphere was incredible. There are frustrations, but to get a result here in any format is a good effort,” he continued.

“It’s a game of inches. My run out at the end, I probably need to get a bit quicker, don’t I! They had a couple of dropped catches which helped us. It was great to bat with Brooky, he’s in outstanding form. It’s actually a joke how good he is at the minute.”
