The first half of match no. 52 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad was nothing short of any roller-coaster ride for fans. After Virat Kohli's side stamped their authority by picking the wicket of Abhishek Sharma, the Orange Army paved their way back into the contest through a crucial partnership from their experienced pair of Kane Williamson and Jason Roy.

However, the dismissal of the SRH skipper made way for another batting collapse for the side reeling at bottom of the points table. The inexperience in the middle order has been the major cause of worry for the Orange Army which was once again at display in Abu Dhabi. On the contrary, 38-year-old Daniel Christian, who has had a difficult season so far, was showing exactly why experience matters in these challenging conditions.

Christian shows incredible reflexes against SRH

With the pitch slowing down, the RCB skipper got Daniel Christian into the attack who conceded only 5 runs in his first over. Kohli stuck with him and the Aussie veteran lived up to the expectations. He dismissed Priyam Garg on the first delivery of the 15th over to put the pressure back on SRH.

Kohli's side had got themselves back into the contest and all they needed was the wicket of Jason Roy to totally get themselves in a dominating position. This is exactly what happened on the final delivery of Christian's over, courtesy of a moment of brilliance from the veteran.

The right-arm medium pacer deceived Roy with a brilliant slower one as the Englishman hit the ball straight back at the bowler. Despite very little time to react, Christian adjusted himself and got his hands in position to catch the ball. The ball bounced off a couple of times but the Aussie was in no mood to let go of the golden opportunity.

Christian showed tremendous reflexes and presence of mind to grab the ball on the third attempt to send a set Jason Roy back to the pavilion at a score of 44.
