Australia cricketer David Warner finally made a return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) after having an on and off season in 2021. He played a match-winning knock for his new franchise Delhi Capitals against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Warner scored 61 runs off 45 balls and also formed multiple crucial partnerships in the game.

But apart from entertaining the fans with his wide array of shots, Warner also brought the Tik Tok star in him on the ground to leave his fans in splits. The DC batter performed multiple dance steps while fielding in the second innings of the game. In a video shared by himself on Instagram with caption "What’s your thoughts?? Soo many requests from the fans"; Warner is seen performing hook steps of different songs. He also performed the viral 'Srivalli' step as well as enacting the 'Mai Jhukega Nhi' dialogue from Pushpa movie.

Everyone was left amused after seeing Warner like this after a long time. Fans flooded his comments section with praiseworthy words. While a few called him 'an entertainer', some gave him the nickname 'modern Pushpa'.

Warner returns to IPL!

It was pure delight for David Warner fans to see their favorite star scoring runs in the biggest league in the world. After being made to sit out for half of the league stage games in 2021, David Warner moved to his first IPL franchise, Delhi Capitals. While the southpaw batter could not do much in his first game for the franchise, he made it count in the second game.

He partnered with Prithvi Shaw at the top to take the attack to the opposition right from the start. The duo put on a 93-run opening stand and scored 68 runs in the first six overs. Warner played second fiddle till Shaw was there but took command as soon as the batter left the crease. He kept finding regular boundaries and helped DC build on the initial momentum.
