You win some, you lose some, that is the saying about sports. But players, who play the sport know how hard it is to accept defeat. Players play to win and give their 100 per cent each time. But sometimes a defeat hurts a little more, especially when it is lost by a small margin. Team India lost the 3rd ODI after reaching so close to the target. Team India needed 6 runs in the final over but the wicket of Yuzvendra Chahal shattered the dream.
The defeat was hurtful for Indian fans but it seems Deepak Chahar was deeply affected by it. The pacer played a brilliant knock and kept Team India in the hunt. He was dismissed in the penultimate over when India needed 10 from 18 deliveries.
Chahar scored 54 off 34 deliveries, which included 5 fours and 2 sixes. Before Chahar’s counter-attack, India were staring down at a big defeat but thanks to the Bumrah-Chahar partnership, India stayed in the hunt.
In the video that now is going viral, the pacer can be seen getting emotional as Navdeep Saini gave him a pat on the back. The opposition dugout too came forward to appreciate Chahar’s effort.

Before the valiant innings of Chahar, it was Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan who kept Team India afloat. Virat Kohli scored 65 and yet again missed out on a century. Meanwhile opener Dhawan scored 61 and stitched a crucial partnership with the former skipper.
