While the Indian men’s Test team failed to achieve glory at the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand, a separate limited-overs side is all set to tour Sri Lanka in July. While the squad had already been announced, the members of that side have assembled and are keeping themselves in a positive frame of mind. And now pacer Deepak Chahar has shared a sneak peek of the players spending their time off from training and working on fitness.

In the video, Chahar along with fellow pacers Navdeep Saini and Chetan Sakariya were seen playing a game of gully cricket within the hotel premises. While Saini was seen steaming in, a style characteristic of him, Chahar middled his stroke with what seemed to be a baseball bat. Meanwhile, Sakariya was the lone fielder, perhaps waiting for his turn with either the bat or the ball.

"This reminds me of my school day’s.? who all can relate? @navdeep_saini10_official showing aggression as always [email protected]," he captioned the video.

Ahead of the tour, the young team is sweating it out in their training session. Notably, while Shikhar Dhawan has been named the captain of this side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been selected as the vice-captain. In addition, T Dileep as fielding coach and Paras Mahambre as the bowling coach along with former India captain Rahul Dravid as the head of the coaching staff will also travel to the island country for the limited-overs tour.
