The Indian Premier League (IPL) brings all the cricket fans in the country together. Although fans want their team to do the best and win the title, they can't ignore good performances by opposition players. Also, some moments in the field leave fans amused. One such moment happened during the 4th Match of the Indian T20 League where Lucknow and Gujarat where up against each other.
The evening was dominated by pace bowlers as both teams lost one of their openers for a duck. While it was KL Rahul for LSG, it was Shubman Gill for Gujarat. After struggling for two balls, Gill tried to take on Dushmantha Chameera and hit him over covers but only managed the bottom edge of the bat. Resultantly, the ball ballooned up in the air and Deepak Hooda settled himself under it to complete the catch.
Getting a breakthrough early in the innings sent Lucknow players in jubilation and they went up in celebration. While celebrating the wicket of Shubman Gill, a moment took place which left the fans surprised as well as happy. Deepak Hooda who claimed the catch celebrated the wicket by hugging Krunal Pandya who was standing next to him on the field.
