Game 5 in the NBA playoffs between Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzles produces some rare sights in basketball. As the two of the most competitive teams gathered at FedEx Forum for a highly-anticipated clash, the match delivered some unexpected sights.
Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch was arguing with an official while Desmond Bane attempted to get to his spot for an inbound pass. In doing so, Bane lightly pushed Finch to the side. Finch took offence to this contact, swatting Bane's hand away.
The official, right on top of the incident, issued Bane a technical foul for illegal contact with a coach. But, what caught everyone's attention was how fans sitting behind stood right away in support of Finch. The incident was caught on camera and was widely shared on social media.
