Dinesh Karthik has become the talk of the town after making a comeback into India’s national cricket team. The 37-year-old is currently representing India in the five-match T20I series against South Africa. The veteran wicketkeeper batter got a chance to don the national jersey again after an unbelievable IPL 2022. Karthik perfectly played the role of a finisher for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as he aggregated 330 runs in 16 games at an average of 55 and a mind-bobbling strike rate of 183.33.
Karthik has looked different in the way he has approached his game. The intent to score runs has worked really well for the batter. But the amount of aggression he has shown while playing his shots, he has shown the same amount of composure while handling tough situations. Also, he has looked equally relaxed off the field as he has stayed focused on it. Now, with him back in national colors, Karthik got a chance for a fun rapid-fire where he was asked to choose between two given options.
In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Karthik is seen revealing his picks about his favorite sportsperson as well as where he would like to spend his free time. In the same video, the 37-year-old also reveals whose mind he will like to read if he got that special power.
Dinesh Karthik said if he got the power to read someone’s mind, he would love to get into former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s mind. “If I am given the ability to read minds, I will definitely get into the mind of MS Dhoni,” said Karthik in the video.

Karthik yet to go big in national colors!
Although the Tamil Nadu cricketer has got himself back in the national setup, he is yet to play a big inning as he played in the IPL. Karthik has got a chance to bat two times so far in the series where he has scored 1*(2), and 30* (21). With the 3rd T20I set to be played on Tuesday, Dinesh Karthik will be itching to go big.
