Be it the exciting starts, thrilling finishes, nervy or hilarious moments, IPL never fails to entertain its users. With every new game, the fans witness noticeable and memorable moments on the ground to cherish throughout the life. However, amidst the competitive environment, the player too maintain that they enjoy every single moment of the sport. At times they do so with the seriousness of their game, while on other occasions, they are the on-field banters that keep the pressure of the game balanced.

One telling example of that could be when Dinesh Karthik and Shikhar Dhawan were seen sharing a moment of fun during the 25th match of IPL 2021. The Kolkata Knight Riders captain was seen sharing a hilarious moment with the Delhi Capitals opener during the latter’s chase of 155 runs in the second innings.

During the game, DK tried to stump out Dhawan but the latter’s foot was well planted inside the crease when the bails were removed by the KKR wicketkeeper. Soon after seeing the southpaw well inside the crease, Karthik funnily shouted at Dhawan and presumably asked him that why he didn’t step out of the crease. To this, Dhawan made a funny action.

Delhi Capitals climb to 2nd spot in points table

Meanwhile, Dhawan played the role of second fiddle and scored 46 runs. He currently tops the batsmen’s chart in IPL 2021 with 311 runs to his name across the 7 matches played so far. His average is 44.43 in the 14th edition of the tournament.
