The IPL 2022 match between the two first-timers Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans is turning out to be an entertaining affair. While initially it was all about the Gujarat Titans as they picked up four early wickets, the Lucknow side found a way to come back with the help of half-centuries from Deepak Hooda and debutant Ayush Badoni.
The two, in fact, helped Lucknow post a fighting total of 158/6. Later, Lucknow pacer Dushmantha Chameera carried forward the momentum and helped the KL Rahul-led team to a dream start, taking two wickets in his first two overs. While he got rid of Shubman Gill for a duck, he also removed Vijay Shankar with a 145 kmph yorker to which the batter had no answer.
The ball crashed into the stumps which made for a delightful sight for all the Lucknow fans.
