Cricket is a game that the majority of the Indians like. While some enjoy watching the game, many are more interested in playing it. But the craze for the game has certainly reached new heights in India and a recent viral video is a testimony of that. In a short clip shared across social media, an elephant could be seen batting with a stick and hitting some beautiful shots over the extra cover and cover region.

Such amazing was the video that even former England cricket team captain Michael Vaughan cannot hold himself from commenting on it and sharing the video on Twitter. "Surely the Elephant has an English passport !! (sic)," wrote Vaughan on the microblogging website.

The 30-second clip is now doing rounds on social media with netizens enjoying it to the fullest. While some asked what was the final score that the elephant made, others joked that the elephant can open for India in the World Test Championship against New Zealand.

Given that the elephant was batting with an unorthodox stance; facing the bowler with a straight body, many were curious to know if the elephant was a left-handed batter or right-handed.
