One of the biggest gifts limited-overs cricket has given to the game is the increase in the level of fielding. In modern day game, fielders are willing to give it their all to save a run or take a catch. The margin of error has reduced drastically with the increase in professionalism in the sport. Another such instance was at display during the IPL 2021 match between the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

During the 18th over of the SRH innings, CSK star Faf du Plessis grabbed an acrobatic catch in the 18th over to get rid of a set Manish Pandey (61) in the ongoing match against SRH in Delhi. While Pandey was looking to clear the long on fence, Faf covered some distance before diving right to catch the ball with both hands. He flashed a thumbs up symbol post making a remarkable catch look pretty easy.

Sunrisers Hyderabad eventually finished with 171/3, thanks to half-centuries from Manish Pandey and David Warner and a clinical finish from Kane Williamson. The Orange Army have just one win after five matches and desperately need two points under their belt to get their campaign up and running.
