The sixth game of the 15th edition of The Indian Premier League (IPL) saw Royal Challengers Bangalore's bowlers completely dominating Kolkata Knight Riders as they bowled them for only 128. Every bowler from the RCB camp (except David Willey) chipped in with wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga starred with his four wickets while Akash Deep joined him with three wickets.

Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj also managed to get scalps. While Patel removed Sam Billings and Andre Russell, Siraj took the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane. Although RCB had a great day on the field, a decision from Faf du Plessis completely surprised every cricket fan. The RCB skipper opted for a DRS against a decision that looked not out to the naked eye.

Plessis had to face the embarrassment when the replay was shown on the big screen. After the decision was referred to the third umpire, he checked for front on angle first and guess what! The ball had hit the middle of the bat and was nowhere close to the pad. This unbelievable review from du Plessis was one of those 'oops moments' on the cricket field.

RCB win!

Apart from this decision, Faf du Plessis and his team had a great day on the field. They won the toss and invited KKR to bat. Then their bowlers did some early damage as KKR lost three wickets inside the powerplay. The spinners capitalized on the start given by the quickies. Wanindu Hasaranga was the star with his four wickets in the game. Some sensational bowling from Harshal Patel was also on display as the pacer bowled two maiden overs in his four overs spell.

Patel also took the big wicket of Ander Russell who was starting to look dangerous. After bundling out KKR for 128, RCB also faltered in their chase. Some beautiful bowling from Tim Southee and Umesh Yadav put RCB on the backfoot as they also lost three wickets inside the powerplay. However, Sherfane Rutherford, David Willey, Shebaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, and Dinesh Karthik put their hands up to finish the job for their team.
