Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been one of the most important and celebrated cricket players in the history of Indian cricket. So even after his retirement from international cricket, fans and supporters are still seen serenading the World Cup-winning captain. Similarly, another MS Dhoni fan has created a masterpiece, wishing his idol an early happy birthday.

This fan is an Instagram artist Lalit Nagar, who hails from the Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh. Nagar posted a video where he created a rangoli of the great Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The video was uploaded on his Instagram account as he captioned it, “In Advance Happy Birthday? Sir ?@mahi7781 #msdhoni you are my Favourite ? cricketer! This Rangoli special for your Birthday ? It's very hard work! But you in the Art it's very interesting work!”

The cricketing world has missed MS Dhoni on the international circuit, but his appearances in the IPL are largely celebrated. So when the news broke that Dhoni was coming back for the 2023 season, fans were overjoyed.

While speaking to Ian Bishop before CSK’s last game of IPL 2022 against Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni talked about returning to the team for one more year. He said, “Well, I think, definitely. It’s a simple reason. It will be unfair to not play in Chennai and say thank you. Mumbai is one place where, as a team and as an individual, I have got a lot of love and affection. But, you know it won’t be nice to the CSK fans.”

“And also, hopefully, next year the teams will get an opportunity to travel, so it will be like a thank all the different places where we will be playing games at different venues. Whether it will be my last year or not that's a big question because you know we can't really predict about something two years down the line, but definitely I'll be working hard to come back strong next year,” MS Dhoni added.
