The ongoing edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) produced one of the best catches in the history of the tournament. Fraser-McGurk, one of the promising young cricketers representing Melbourne Renegades, surprised everyone with his mind-blowing catch in a game against Adelaide Strikers.

The Victoria lad impressed everyone with his impressive field when Afghanistan’s Zahir Khan came in to bowl the 7th over with one wicket already under his belt. The unbelievable timings and full stretch successful attempt by the fielder helped dismiss Jake Weatherland.

After taking one of the best catches of the season, Fraser wasted no time in welcoming spectators for cheering for his brilliant effort. His teammates too ran towards him to appreciate the efforts of the young chap.

In terms of the match, The Renegades set the Strikers 153 to chase after an incredible collapse which saw the Melbourne side lose six wickets for only nine runs. Mathew Short got the chase off to a promising start, smashing two sixes onto the second-tier of seating at Marvel Stadium.

He received a breather in the fourth over when Pattinson dropped a catch that stayed well into the air off Kane Richardson’s bowling. But he was taken down in the next over by Zahir Khan, top-edging a ball to Harper to leave the ground having scored 29 off 18. However, the match is still in progress and with the kind of lineup, Adelaide Strikers has, the chase should not be beyond their limits.
